Just a few short blocks away from the house is Torch Lake which is the 3rd most beautiful lake in the world so says National Geographic Magazine. It is 19 miles long and 2 miles wide. As part of the Chain of Lakes you can boat from one lake to another and never run out of things to see. You are also about 30 minutes drive to Traverse City, home of the Cherry Festival! And about 1 hour drive to other great and interesting areas such as Charlevoix, Leelanau Peninsula and Petoskey. Let's not forget also about spending a day at the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes or Mackinac Island. Whatever direction you choose to go the surrounding area has so much to offer the vacationer from places to visit, to small little shoppes where you can find find that special something to remember your trip, as well as some of the best food around!!!! Many walking and hiking trails and of course Marinas to enjoy the beauty that awaits you on the lakes but especially Torch Lake. This home has a lot to offer you and your family with its 3 bedrooms and 2 baths it will sleep 6 comfortably. Children are welcomed. May consider 1 small mature dog (under 25 lbs) with an extra $150.00 pet fee. Sorry, NO air conditioning. NO SMOKING
