Lazy Dayz Cottage
LAZY DAYZ - Weekly rental - Saturday to Saturday
This Cottage is a great get away spot not on the water but close enough to enjoy it on a daily basis. The beach is across the road and about 6 houses down. The house sleeps up to 8 people and has 2+ bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The fenced in yard and a swing set is a nice area for children to play. In addition this house will take pets with the homeowners permission. Great little place!!! Right across the street to Torch Lake public access so you can enjoy the lake for the entire time you're here. Bring your own boat or rent one there is a landing right up the road so everything is very easy to get to and doesn't take a lot of your time. Torch Lake is the third most beautiful lake in the world and with its 19 miles of blue green tropical water you will not run out of things to see and do whether on water or land.
Take some time to explore the quaint towns of Alden and Bellaire. The quaint town of Alden offers a tasting room for Vista Ridge Winery, a locally produced wine, ice cream at Higgins Store or the Lakeside Dip, dining at the Torch Lake Beer Company and excellent Muffins or light breakfast or lunch at the Muffin Tin. While in Alden check out the Alden Mill House for a large selection of Kitchen gadgets and fresh spices, and spice blends. Enjoy shopping in some of the unique shops Alden has to offer where we are sure you will find that great memento of your time on Torch Lake. Venture to Bellaire and check out the award winning Shorts Brewery, taste Meade at Bee Well Meadery or sip some locally distilled liquor at Mammoth Distillery. Bellaire also has some great restaurants and shops. Take a quick break and have a glass of wine at the Fireside Lounge, the gals there are very friendly and helpful. There is so much to see and do here. Head north 1 1/2 hours and you can see the Mackinac Bridge and drive across if you wish, or catch a ferry in Mackinaw City over to the Island for the day. Or just lay back relax and take it all in. Just a 40 minute drive into Traverse City. Always plenty to see or do. Or relax and do nothing at all! Whatever you decide to do while in the area one sure thing is you will be back.
So don't let this affordable home slip by. Make your plans today to save your spot in the sun and on the water's of Torch Lake. Hope to see you soon!!!!
